Navy and Yan Limited was incorporated in 2005 with the main aim to provide Professional Training in the fields of Accountancy, Audit, Tax and Finance. It has since then carried out various training for dedicated niche clients who request for the training of their staff in specific fields.
Y. Nath Varma is the head of training and development. He has trained not only professionals but also trainers who are engaged in training such professionals. In the past, he acted as the training manager of one of the Big 4 accounting firms and has had significant training experience in South Africa. He holds the KPMG “Global Presentation Skills and GenericTrain the Trainer” certificate awarded by the KPMG Africa Board. He is also registered as a trainer with the MQA.
Navy and Yan Limited is registered as a Training Institution with the Mauritius Qualifications Authority (MQA). Navy and Yan Limited has a niche market and performs training mostly of professionals working for accountancy firms. It is also engaged in the Continous Professional Develoment of the employees of Navy and Yan which is an accountancy firm that has been awarded the "Approved Employer - Practising Certificate Development" by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). To date, a number of fully qualified ACCA members working for Navy and Yan have been able to work towards the achievement of the ACCA Practicing Certificate with the support of Navy and Yan Limited.
Navy and Yan Limited also conducts training through on-line portals, on demand.
